So, recess week's gone in a blink of an eye. Haha and yes, I wasted most of it enjoying my time as a 宅女 at home watching tv + minimal studies for the upcoming midterms. I made an effort, really. Just not very effective :|
Went to the Changi Airport on Saturday. Studied at Starbucks while waiting for baby to meet me after his CSM's son's birthday party. Was surrounded by Olevels students, which I found a little overwhelming. Was I so hardworking too? Probably, considering I used to camp at Woodlands library with my friends (freezing in the cold) while mugging. Haha but, most of them are chatting around, and dozing off. One thing that amazed me tho, is how mature all of them look - I actually thought they were Uni students before I saw the assessment books and overheard their conversation regarding Olevels (not my intention to eavesdrop, they are talking way too loud). They looked like 20 years old instead of 16 years old, is studying so stressful now that they have aged earlier?
Went Manhattan Market for dinner before heading to town.
I love how I am always pleasantly surprised with their food.
Cutlery in a bucket.
Baby deciding on what shall we eat for dinner. Haha everything just look so yummy and tempting, I wanna have them all ~
Cream of Tomato
Gummy Bear & Cala Cala
(Lemonade in sparking soda, I like it quite much)
Our grilled platter!
Grilled Fish with Herbs • Mussels • Calamari Rings • Fried Oysters •
Prawn w/ Mayonnaise • Garden Vegetable • Garlic Rice
Not a big fan of mussels but I like their grilled fish. Haha and the fried oyster (nugget looking thing) totally surprised me! Thought it will be all to oily and not nice, it turned out to be pretty yummy. The calamari rings too, not the rubbery kind I ate before at most places. Prawn's alright but the mayonnaise was a little overwhelming. I like their garlic rice, tho the rice's a little hard that day. Haha but still loves.
Went to Somerset 313 to check out the new MadeWithLove outlet. I am so happy that its back in Singapore! Tho upset that I actually missed out their re-opening sale, last last week & I should have used the loyalty card to collect stamps when shopping at their Clearance Sale last year. Still, glad that they are back :)
Went to watch 2 Guns @ Cathay after which. Quite a entertaining movie, I like it how they portray the government to be ultimately corrupted and everything. Haha the plot twist and the epic ending with all the bad guys dead. I find the guys are so noisy and childish and nonsensical! Hahaha, tho I had to admit it added humour into the movie, but still make me wanting to go - guys.
They never really grow up, right? Haha
Lovely Saturday spend with ❤
